This directory maps out the major network of organisations in the region facilitating the research, preservation and conservation, collection, exhibition, interpretation and promotion of local history and heritage - the people, stories and places of the Illawarra.
This combined website is a project of the Wollongong Museums Libraries and Heritage Working Group, convened by Wollongong City Council. The Museums and Heritage Wollongong website is maintained and constantly updated by dedicated museum facilitators.
